CLARIFICATION REGARDING PREMATURE INCREMENT / ANNUAL INCREMENT IN VIEW OF UPGRADATION OF POSTS BY GOVERNMENT OF SINDH, FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Government of Sindh, Finance Department has issued Clarification vide No. FD(SR-IV)2-35/2014 dated 25.10.2017 regarding Premature Increment / Annual Increment in view of Upgradation of Posts. The detail is as follows;


I am directed to refer to the subject noted above, and to say that if premature increment is allowed on up-gradation with effect from 04.08.2016, then there is no provision for annual increment falling on 01.12.2016 due to period less than six months however, right of option is available under Rule-44 (a) of Sindh Civil Servant Rules Manual Vol-l for retaining pay of lower scale pay till obtaining annual increment i.e. 01.12.2016.
