DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE DEATH RESIGNATION AND VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE CASES OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES

Government of the Punjab, Local Government & Community Development Department issued a letter regarding Required Documents for the Death Resignation and Vote of No Confidence Cases of Local Government Representatives.
 
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that in future all the cases on the subject would be forwarded to the LG&CD Department along with the following documents duly attested by the Deputy Directors / Chief Officers (affixing original signature and stamp) of the concerned local government, otherwise the case will not be entertained:

Documents Required in Case of Death


  1. Copy of CNIC (In case of death of Chairman copy of CNIC of Vice Chairman as well.
  2. Copy of Computerized Death Certificate
  3. Copy of Result Notification

Documents Required in Case of Resignation



  1. Copy of CNIC (In case of resignation of Chairman copy of CNIC of Vice Chairman as well.
  2. Copy of hand written resignation
  3. Copy of result notification
  4. Copy of House Resolution

Documents Required in Case of Vote of No Confidence



  1. Requisition moved by the members for convening meeting to discuss vote of No Confidence.
  2. Notice issued by ODLG for meeting to discuss Vote of No Confidence alongwith evidence / means of communication of notice.
  3. Attendance of candidates who participated in the meeting to discuss mention of no confidence.
  4. Proceedings of the meeting of the House
  5. Declaration under Rules 8 of Punjab Local Governments (Vote of No Confidence) Rules, 2018 regarding passing of Motion of Non Confidence by 2/3 majority.
The above said information may be treated as check list. Combined case of two or more local government representatives may be avoided to be forwarded to the LG&CD Department through a single covering letter. Rather each and every case may be submitted to this Department separately.
