UP-GRADATION OF POSTS OF TEACHING CADRE IN GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department issued a Notification regarding Up-Gradation of Total 1155 Posts of Teaching Cadre in Government Colleges (Male & Female).
  • Sanction of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is hereby accorded to the up-gradation of total 1155 posts to B-21, B-20, B-19 & B-18 of Teaching Cadre in Government Colleges (Male & Female), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by abolishing equal number of posts of lecturers (B-17) on the basis of 5-Tier Formula carrying the ratio of 0.5:06:22:35.5:36 as is elaborated in the following table:-

  • The current Up-gradation of 1155 Post including Re-designation of 36 posts as Senior Professors in B-21 inter alia of Teaching Cadre in Government Colleges (Male & Female), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall be effective from 01/09/2019. Sanction is also hereby accorded for up-gradation & re-designation of posts in B-21. B-20, B-19 & B-18 of Teaching Cadre on gender-basis by abolishing equal number of posts of Lecturers (B-17) as per detail given below:
  • In order to attain the ratio of 0.5:06:22:35.5:36 within the existing sanctioned strength on the basis of 5-Tier Formula, detail break-up with regard to placement of upgraded posts of B-21, B-20, B-19 & B-18 in various Government Colleges (Male & Female), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been elaborated in the enclosed Annexure-I & II. Revised Position of sanctioned strength of teaching cadre to be stood on 1" September, 2019 on the basis of 5-Tire formula carrying the ratio of 0.5:06:22:35.5:36 will be as follow:-

  • The Expenditure involved is chargeable to the Functional-cum-Object Classification, 09-Education Affairs & Services, 093-Tertiary Education Affairs & Services, 093-Tertiary Education Affairs & Services, 093101-General Universities Colleges / Institutes and will be met out within the sanctioned Budget Estimates, 2019-20, Vol-III (Part-C), (NC-21016) under Grant No. 12 (Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department).
