WITHDRAWAL OF EID UL AZHA LOCKDOWN ORDER

Government of the Punjab, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued an order regarding withdrawal of Eid-ul-Azha lockdown order dated 27.07.2020 and issued new order.

NO.SO(G)/P&SHD/4-1/2020. In exercise of powers under Sections 4(c), 5(1)(e), 5(1) (f) of "The Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Ordinance 2020", I, Captain (R) Muhammad Usman, Secretary, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of the Punjab, with the approval of Chier Minister, Punjab, do hereby withdraw Eid ul Azha lockdown order dated 27.07.2020 and order as follows:


  1. All Educational and training institutions, Marriage halls, Business centers, Expo Halls, Restaurants (except takeaways & home delivery), Theme/ amusement parks, Play Areas and arcades, Beauty Parlors and Spas, Cinemas and Theaters shall remain closed. 
  2. There shall be a complete ban on Sporting tournaments/ matches (indoor and outdoor) except non-contact professional sports without spectators. All contact sports & indoor sports clubs/facilities shall remain closed. 
  3. There shall also be a complete ban on gatherings of all kinds for social, religious, or any other purpose at any place, public or private.
All businesses, factories, facilities, premises, retail shops, Shopping malls and plazas except the aforementioned negative list, are hereby allowed to operate subject to adoption of SOPs / guidelines from 9AM to 7PM, Monday to Friday, and there shall be complete lockdown on Saturday and Sunday, except the following, which shall remain open: -
  • All medical services & Pharmacies/ Medical Stores, Tire puncture shops, fruit & vegetable shops, tandoors, atta chakkies, postal/courier services, driver hotels, petrol pumps, oil depots, LPG outlets & filling plants, agriculture machinery workshops and spare parts shops, printing press, call centers (with 50% staff and no public dealing), Takeaway / Home Delivery from restaurants (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
  • Inter-city & Inter-district public transport (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
  • Grocery stores & karyana stores (9:00AM to 7:00PM, 7 days a week)
  • Churches (7:00AM to 5:00PM, Sundays only)
  • Gatherings of all kinds to express solidarity with Kashmiris only under the supervision of respective District administrations and Law Enforcement Agencies after adopting complete SOPS. (5th August 2020 Only).
This order shall come into force immediately and till 12.00 AM, Monday 17.08.2020 unless modified otherwise.

This order shall be given wider publicity in official Gazette, Daily
Newspapers and broadcasting through Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television and other TV Channels as news item for information of the general public.
